Each team is required to submit via email (to email@example.com) two (2) copies of their short film, one via a public or unlisted YouTube link and one via a Google Drive link that allows us to download the films. Films must be between one and ten minutes, in total, including all titles and credits.
Films under consideration for prizes may be asked to include a photographic screen capture of a key scene from the submitted film with an aspect ratio of 16 : 9. Films under consideration for prizes may also be asked to include two or more behind-the-scene photos and/or videos to verify smartphone usage.
Each team is also required to submit a brief synopsis of their short film (of fewer than 250 words) for promotional purposes. Furthermore, the Title of the Film, Name of the Team Leader, Duration, Country of Production, and Name of Smartphone must be typed clearly and consistently on all submission emails (i.e. Final Submission Email & Raw Footage Proof Email). All of this information should be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org along with your final film.
Films containing non-English dialogue and/or narration must include English subtitles.

Films are to be submitted in the following format:
Container: .MOV (Quicktime/Mac) and .MP4 Codec: H.264
Aspect Ratio: 16:9 (16:9 letterbox or pillar box if film is in another native aspect ratio)
Minimum Resolution: At least 1920 x 1080 PROGRESSIVE
Suggested Frame Rates: 24 or 25 or 30 FPS (for final exported film)
Audio: Stereo Channels, AAC codec, 48kHz sample rate
Timing: Between 1 and 10 minutes (including all opening titles and credits)
Minimum bitrate: 8mbps
